Just before this verse 3 of Colossians 3; the
Apostle Paul said we believers have risen with
Christ already and admonished that we seek those
things which are above, where Christ is sitting at
the right hand of God, of course we’re sitting
together with Him and further said we should be
mindful of things above, and not on things on the
earth. In Verse 3, he said for we’re dead. That
settles it! It is something that has already
happened to us, not what will happen to us next
year or years to come. No! The death, burial,
resurrection, ascension and eventual sitting of
Jesus Christ happened to us, too!
